Description

The Speedmaster Moonwatch is one of the most iconic watches in the world, having been part of all six lunar landings and symbolising OMEGA’s pioneering and adventurous spirit.

This 42 mm stainless steel Moonwatch features a polished and brushed bracelet, sapphire crystal on the front and case back, and is inspired by the 4th-generation Speedmaster worn on the Moon. It features an asymmetric case, a stepped lacquered dial with an applied logo and indices, Moonwatch hands, and the famous dot over 90 on the anodised black aluminium bezel.

SPEEDMASTER MOONWATCH PROFESSIONAL

NASA astronauts wore and relied on the Moonwatch during every lunar landing in history, including the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. Today’s modern version is crafted in the same style as the 4th-generation model that famously travelled beyond Earth.

NASA first searched for a watch for its crewed missions, and only the Speedmaster survived the rigorous testing. As a result, it was declared “flight-qualified” and went into space.
